I have been writing books since the late 1980s.  Many of these titles are available at www.amazon.co.uk where you can buy new and secondhand copies of most of my books.

I think Original Prayer is probably the last one I will write, but who knows...

A great little book if you want to discover more about different bits of the Christian tradition and how they can help people pray.

There are also chapters on prayer and music, prayer and art, prayer in cyberspace and prayer when you are ill.

I think the title says it all - also the picture on the front of the book. I wrote it after the Church of England voted to ordain women in 1992 - & still stand by what I wrote.

This is the first title in a series of three books I edited. The Hidden Tradition examines the contribution of women to the Church’s spiritual life. The Hidden Journey celebrates the contribution of missionary women and The Hidden Voice looks at the ways in which the Christian gospel has inspired women to work for change - in education, politics & in life.

This is the book I wrote when I first left the community.

It tells the story of why I joined, why I stayed and why I left.

When the Vatican demanded a ‘public’ declaration from me, stating that I accepted the Catholic Church’s ban on any discussion about women priests, I had to go.

I love this book - and also the other titles I worked on for the BBC.  They range from The Daily Service - a collection of listeners’ comments on the programme - to a couple of books of Pause for Thought from Radio 2’s Terry Wogan show.

A Time to Receive is a Lent book and I did an Advent one too, The Dome of Heaven.
